The Girl in Seat 2A book Review

Title: The Girl in Seat 2A

Author: Diana Wilkinson

Publisher: Boldwood Books

Publication Date: March, 2024

Genre: Thriller

Pages: 358

My Rating: ★★★★☆

Jade heads off to Marbella after a lottery win, wishing desperately to live like a millionaire.
After a chance meeting on the plane with the handsome and charming Isaac, could her wish soon be a reality?

This is a chick-lit meets thriller kind of book. From the cover, I was expected a bit more of a serious tone, so I was a bit thrown at the start, but I did enjoy the light hearted style.

Jade was a bit of a naive protagonist and the other characters weren’t particularly well developed. I would have liked to have heard Isaac or Pablo’s story as well as Jade and Marta’s.
It was a little predictable in places, but its fast pace kept me turning the pages.

A quick and easy read, it would make a good vacation book. Fans of The Housemaid would enjoy this as it has a similar feel.
