WHAAAAAAT?! I am going to have a hangover from this book for a while. What a crazy ride that was!
Sarah Morgan finds herself representing her husband after he allegedly murders the woman he is having an affair with. Can Sarah convince a jury of his innocence? Or will Adam end up with the death penalty?
I loved the dual perspective telling both Sarah, and Adam’s, version of events. I just couldn’t put it down and read it in just two sittings. I can’t believe the author managed to get me behind a man who was committing adultery and desperate to have him found innocent! This book had me suspecting everyone and never right with my accusations. It kept me interested, desperate to find out more, turning those pages quicker than anything.
The ending has me absolutely gasping and screaming WHAAAAATTT?!?!? What a jaw dropping twist that was!
Amazing, amazing, amazing! A well deserved 5 stars from me. And to top it off, it was FREE with Prime reading (huge thanks to Jeneva Rose for that)
