NO SHELF CONTROL

Eeeek! So when I saw that John Marrs was doing a book signing not too far away, I obviously jumped at the chance to go and meet him.

I’ve read three of John’s books now and all three have been 4 and 5 star reviews. I’m a complete psychological thriller nut and the books he writes are right up my street. Always keeping me on my toes and guessing.

I bought one I haven’t read before – The Marriage Act – I’ve heard it’s meant to be really good, so I’m looking forward to reading that one.

I love the fact he’s super active on Facebook and engaging with his fans. I do think that’s part of his success (as well as Freida McFadden – love the banter between those two!)

What a lovely guy he was (and his husband too), they took 5 minutes to have a chat and he signed not one, but two, of my books!

Well chuffed. It’s my first book signing that I’ve had the confidence to go to, my anxiety often stops me from leaving the house, so you can tell how much I really, really wanted to go! And he put me right at ease. Hopefully the day went well for him too. Wishing him all the success in the future, I can’t wait to read more of his work.
