Oh Mary Brown! How we can all relate to you! Mary is overweight and struggling. She decides to join “Fat Club” and this book follows her journey meeting some new friends, and perhaps a bit of romance in there as well.
Bernice Bloom paints such a good picture of Mary. The writing style is warm, cosy, and you really feel like Mary is one of your own friends. I was rooting for Mary right from the start. A nice, easy red and a real feel-good book.
