I couldn’t put down the Housemaid, so it was only natural I’d pick up The Housemaid’s Secret next.
The second book follows Millie to her next job with the Garrick’s. Millie quickly fears Mrs Garrick needs her help and sets about hatching a plan to free her from her controlling husband. Has Millie picked up some sort of reputation for helping housewives?
I loved the first one and read this one straight after.
Oh. My. Gosh! Each twist had me open mouthed and wide eyed. There were SO many turns that I did not see coming!
Absolutely fantastic read, another well deserved 5 stars for Freida.
