What a TOXIC family! Whilst I enjoyed it, I couldn’t stand the main character. WHY would you stay in the family home for so long? Being led to believe you were going crazy? WHY wouldn’t you call the police as soon as you realised your sister was missing? WHY didn’t her husband believe her/stand by her more? Sorry, but being tied to the bed would’ve been the absolute final straw for me. Even when she found out who the killer was, she still stayed?!!!? I’m not sure a pregnant woman would act like this, surely you’d want to get to somewhere safe and then go looking for answers?
There wasn’t a single character I liked in this book. BUT… I didn’t actually guess who the killer was as I distrusted them all! And that’s why I’ve rated it 4*.
