My book of the year for 2022 (yes, I know it was released in 2015, I was a bit late to the party!).
I picked up this book at the airport. Having not read in years (and when I say years, we’re talking I’d barely read a book since I left school and I’m careering towards 40). I didn’t expect to even open it, let alone finish it.
I. Could. Not. Put. It. Down!!!! The twists, the turns! It kept me guessing and it kept me turning those pages.
In fact, this book reignited my love of reading. I now read every day, I own a kindle, have a KU subscription, review NetGalley books, have a whole bunch of friends on Goodreads and can’t wait to curl up with a book after work. I even have this blog!! My youngest and I have reading time together most days now as well.
Not only did this book help me rediscover my passion for reading, it brought my family closer.
THANK YOU, Paula Hawkins.
